Manteca Burgers is a popular option for smash burgers in Madrid. In 2023 it won an award for the best smash burger in Madrid, in a competition organized among others by Uber Eats.
There is the option to go to the restaurant or order delivery. Opted for delivery on a Friday.

The Big M is a play on MacDonald’s Big Mac. A beef patty, onion, lettuce, cheddar, pickles and a potato bun, this does taste like a better version of a Big Mac. In all the burgers you have the option to go from “Kids” all the way to triple size. The Kids size is actually quite small so you will need more than one to feel full.
The American comes with a beef patty, onion, lettuce, cheddar, tomato, and Thousand Island dressing in a potato bun. The sweet dressing worked well with the rest of the ingredients but overall this was nothing exceptional.
The Butter Burger is a simple burger with beef patty, cheddar, onion and butter. While this is one of the most popular options at Manteca Burgers it was my least favourite. I felt like it was lacking a condiment and overal dry.
The Royal comes with beef patty, onion, cheddar, pickles, ketchup and mustard and also making a reference to Macdonald’s burgers. This was my favorite since I liked the addition of the mustard to the rest of the flavors.
Finally the Spicy Bacon with beef paty, bacon cheddar and spicy mayo. This burger was not particularly spicy but the fatty bacon was a good addition to make everything more juicy.
The french fries were not particularly good even by the standards of premade standard burger spot fries.
Conclusion
Manteca Burgers has some decent burger options but overall there are better burger spots in relation to price and quality in Madrid. Although the experience of delivery is not the same as the one you would get in the restaurant so my , there are better delivery options for smash burgers, like La Revolucion.
