La Revolución Burger is a small smash burger place that opened its doors in the summer of 2023. Despite not operating for long, it has been gaining a reputation for its delicious burgers.
Since I know they have a small location with just a couple of tables, I opted for delivery at home.
La Revolución Burger – Menu
The menu is simple and includes a few burger options, fries, and a dessert option.
The focus is on quality and not quantity, which is obvious once you try their burgers.
La Revolución Burger – Food
The classic cheeseburger is among my 3 favorites in Madrid. A classic potato roll, great quality meat, cheddar cheese, onion and their house made revolucion sauce. Saucy and cheesy, just the way a cheeseburger should be, still allowing the meat to shine. The patty was juicy and not overcooked.crunchy which is always a risk with smashed burgers and not something I personally enjoy.
The truffle cheeseburger had mushrooms and truffle sauce. The meat and the bun were great (again) and the truffle sauce was a good fit. I didn’t particularly enjoy the mushrooms which were slightly chewy. I didn’t like the texture and I will opt to remove it next time.
The Oklahoma burger has a double patty, cheddar, grilled onions and Oklahoma sauce. Also juicy and if you like mustard (which is the base of the sauce) you will enjoy this one.
Another one that was particularly good for me, was the bacon cheeseburger. Double patty, bacon, cheddar, pickles, onion and a spicy chipotle mayo.
The spicy fries were really crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. They were coated with a great spice mix with paprika and pepper. All in all, perfect fries.
The classic fries were also crunchy, but I preferred the spice mix of the spicy option.
For dessert, there is the Lady choco, which is a mix of chocolate cookies and dulce de leche. Too sweet and it would benefit from some fruit for acidity otherwise it’s not something to finish in one sitting.
Conclusion
It’s now among my favorite burger places in Madrid. The location is quite small, so opt for takeaway or delivery, but don’t miss it.
