Hundred Burgers was established in 2020 by Alex González-Urbón and Ezequiel Maldjian. The founders started their adventures with a trip to New York to try the best burgers in 2017. They enjoyed their experience so much that they decided to travel worldwide and continue tasting burgers. Through their experience, Hundred Burgers was born. With 4 locations in Valencia and 3 in Madrid, one of its burgers was voted the World’s Best Burger for 2024.
I visited on a weekday with a couple of friends for dinner.
Location/Environment
We visited the relatively new location in Chueca. The restaurant is inviting and gives you a more homey vibe than most burger spots.

With wood and leather tones, the walls are decorated with American culture memorabilia.

Hundred Burgers – Menu
The menu is available through a QR code and includes several burgers, fries and other appetizers. There are also a few dessert options and drinks.
Hundred Burgers focuses on making all the important components in house, including grinding the beef and making the burger bread daily.
Service
The staff was pleasant and helpful. Since it was our first visit, they made recommendations about the best options for first-timers. The food was served timely and even though the place was full, there was no delay.
Hundred Burgers – Food
We started with a pulled chicken croquetas. Crispy on the outside, creamy inside and full of flavour. Perfect execution.

The Singular is the burger that was voted as the best burger in the world for 2024. Dry aged beef patty, cheddar, bacon, caramelised onion, camembert cream and BBQ sauce. You could really taste the quality of the meat in the juicy patty. You would also get all the sweetness from the onion and nice texture from the crispy bacon. One of the best burgers I tried recently.

The Loser was another one I really liked with the slightly spicy Korean Gochujang sauce. Apart from the dry aged beef patty, it also has cheddar and caramelized onions.

Johnny Drama comes with the usual dry aged beef patty, cheddar, iceberg, onion relish and homemade pickles. This was more refreshing compared to the other options due to the vegetables, which were cutting down the richness of the meat.

In addition, we tried the Satisfaction, with a dry aged beef patty, cheddar, a thick bacon slice, salted caramel peanut butter and a BBQ sauce. Interesting flavor combination with the peanut butter (there is a trend of combining sweet and savory ingredients in burgers nowadays). I would have liked a vegetable like tomato or pickles for some acidity here.

The regular french fries were well-cooked with a crispy texture.

We also got the bacon cheese fries with smoked cheddar sauce, bacon jam and a bacon sauce, which were great as well.

Finally, for dessert we tried the Sammy Loves Reese’s, which is practically a large version of the famous Reese’s peanut butter cup. The staff likely heats it up in the microwave so the center was rich and melting.

Conclusion
Hundred Burgers is actually worth the hype, considering the overall quality for the price you pay. The high-quality ingredients and solid execution are fully reflected in the taste of the burgers and the side dishes. Together with La Revolucion and La Prensa, it’s now on my top 3 burger spots in Madrid. Highly recommended.
